FRIDAY, FEB. 6

Viva Flamenco

Ronald RadfordBenefit Concert Accompanied by a cast of dancers, singers, and musicians, internationally acclaimed artist Ronald Radford will bring his passion for the flamenco guitar and the culture of the Iberian Peninsula to St. Charles County. Open to the public, this evening will benefit Diversity and Amigos, area organizations dedicated to working toward better communication and friendship among cultural groups.

SATURDAY, FEB. 7

St. Charles Culture Caravan

This day-long festival will be a celebration of many St. Louis cultures - Irish, German, African-American, Polish, Spanish, and more. A number of ethnic groups will share the ways they celebrate in their country of origin through song and dance.

Lewis and Clark Fife and Drum Corps

Fifer from Fife and Drum CorpsThis St. Charles corps has been designated by the Missouri Lewis and Clark Bicentennial Commission as the "Signature Corps" for all commemorative efforts in Missouri and has received invitations to perform at 13 of the 15 National Heritage Signature Events celebrating Lewis and Clark's Corps of Discovery Expedition. Ranging in ages 10 to 18, the young musicians play replicas of six- and 10-hole wooden fifes and rope-tension drums used during the 18th and 19th centuries.

David Walburn in Concert

David WalburnFolk singer David Walburn will perform his musical salute to the westward journey of Lewis and Clark and the generations of pioneers who explored the west in pursuit of a dream. Sponsored by Wells Fargo, the St. Charles Bi-Centennial Commission, and the Greater St. Charles Convention and Visitors Bureau. Ticket-holders to the Walburn Concert may arrive early and enjoy the sounds of the Lewis and Clark Fife and Drum Corps noted above.

SUNDAY, FEB. 8

An Afternoon at the Fair

Enjoy the music that World's Fair-goers would have heard as they relaxed on a hot summer afternoon in Forest Park in 1904. The After Hours Community Band of St. Louis will perform a concert featuring tunes from the early 20th century.
