Articulation Agreements between
SCC and Area High Schools
“Articulation – the coordination of curriculum
between two educational institutions that helps you avoid repeating coursework
unnecessarily.”
SCC has developed articulation agreements with a number of area high
schools so that some of the courses you take there can count here and
you won’t have to repeat a subject you already know. That means
you can potentially earn free college credit while you’re in high
school toward a degree at SCC (be sure to consult with your school counselor;
certain conditions apply).
If you’re thinking about a two-year career-technical degree, taking
articulated courses now is a smart idea. Check out the SCC articulated
courses available at your high school and talk to your counselor today.
