Nursing students in classroom

General Information

Thank you for your interest in the Health Occupations Programs at St. Charles Community College. The Health Occupations Programs are approved by various agencies including the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the Missouri State Board of Nursing and The Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN).

Program Purpose

Successful completion of a Health Occupations Program at SCC will lead to a certificate and in some courses eligibility to sit for state or national certification exams. Certification qualifies graduates for entry-level practice in a variety of workplace settings.

Note:

“Dismissal from any allied health program because a student has been declared “unsafe,” will make that student ineligible for admission into any SCC Allied Health Programs.”
