| The College
Center, a multipurpose facility, is located in the northwest
quadrant of the campus. A major purpose is to assist in the promotion
of health and wellness for the campus community by providing a healthy
environment for personal development through physical and recreational
activities.
Students, faculty and staff have access to the Fitness
Center, which provides fitness assessment and a complete
weight machine circuit.
In addition, space is available for intramural activities,
team practices, recreational games, dance activities, and many other
college events requiring a large gathering area.
The first floor houses Student
Activities offices, a lounge, club meeting rooms, game
room, fitness center, gym, two classrooms, locker rooms and the intercollegiate athletics office. The rotunda is used as a gathering place for meetings and events.
The second floor houses classrooms for academic physical
education credit courses as well as continuing education classes
offered through the Division of Corporate & Community Development.
See both the credit and non-credit class schedules for a complete listing of physical education, recreation, and fitness classes.
