2008 - 2009 Customized Training Kick- Off

July 1, 2008 - June 30, 2009

As a local education agency approved by the state of Missouri, the Workforce Development Department of St. Charles Community College works with companies like yours to prepare the funding proposals and administer any funds that may be awarded. This application process is a service we provide at no cost to our area business partners.

Currently, we are preparing proposals to be considered for Fiscal Year 2009 (July 1, 2008-June 30, 2009). Because funding for the program is limited, we want to get started as soon as possible. We plan to begin submitting proposals very soon.

Apply NOW for Training Funds through SCC Workforce Development.

The Workforce Development Department at St. Charles Community College (SCC) works with businesses to write proposals for consideration for training funds through the Missouri Customized Training Program (MCTP).  As a Local Education Agency, SCC is the liaison between the state and the business. Representatives from Workforce Development can help your business apply for customized training. The MCTP provides assistance to Missouri businesses to offset costs of employee training.

The program has three objectives:

  1. Training and re-training employees to help meet the demands of new technology and changing markets.
  2. Creating new jobs and/or expanding the workforce.
  3. Reducing the costs of training employees in order to increase company profits and improve productivity.

Proposals are now being considered. Call Workforce Development at
