Guidelines for accomplishment of event:
Student will attend one of the Centerstage (http://www.stchas.edu/events/productions.shtml) plays and will then write a 1 ½ page review that includes their impressions and interpretation based on the following three areas: Understanding, Effectiveness and Ultimate Worth
Understanding: The student will write a paragraph discussing the main events that make up the play’s plot and indicate how it ended.
Effectiveness: The students will discuss which elements of acting, costume design, lighting design, set design and sound design they most appreciated and explain why. Give specific examples from the play to support how these elements made it easier for you to understand the story.
Worth: Discuss what you learned from the experience and identify any new perspectives on life or the theatre as an art you have gained.
