Humanities - Transformation of StoriesGeneral Education Capstone Course Event/Experience Details and Guideline Form Ed. category event should be listed under: Humanities SCC competency addressed by event: Articulate an informed response to popular or classi cal works in the humanities. Event experience title: Transformation of Stories Anticipated learning outcome. By observing both films, students will be able to contrast two cultural interpretations of the same literary work, thus appreciating the impact of culture on artistic creation and expression. Guidelines for accomplishment of event Watch two videos one of Pride and Prejudice, 2005; the other Bride and Prejudice, 2004. Students will view an English version of Pride and Prejudice (2005) which is currently at the cinema. They will also view a "Bollywood" (Indian) version of the same text (available on video). They will write a 2-3 page journal entry using the following criteria.
