ACE Center Academic Computer Lab


Picture of computers in ACE Center lab. The ACE Computer Lab is the most widely used "open lab" available to students, faculty, and staff on campus.  The lab is located in the ACE Center on the second floor of the Social Sciences Building.

Academic tutorials in a wide range of subjects, as well as access to the Internet, Microsoft Office, printing, scanning, and additional software programs are available.

Software titles include:

  • Microsoft Office
      (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word)
  • Microsoft Visio
  • Corel WordPerfect
  • Peachtree Accounting
  • Microsoft Works
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • PLATO Tutorials
  • and many other class-specific software titles

The lab is staffed by an Academic Network Administrator, Academic Network Specialist, and student workers who are available to answer questions and assist you with assignments.
