Practical Nurse Review Course (NRS 130)

This course reviews the core curriculum of the Practical Nursing Program. An excellent class for the student who wants to prepare for the NCLEX exam or for the nurse who wishes to refresh his/her knowledge base.

Subjects Covered Include

  • Review of the Basics: Trends, Nursing Concepts and the Nursing Process.
  • Pharmacology.
  • Nutrition.
  • Medical-Surgical Nursing.
  • Mental Health Nursing.
  • Maternity Nursing.
  • Pediatric Nursing.
  • Nursing Care of the Aging Adult.
  • Emergency Nursing.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be a graduate of a licensed practical nursing program.
  • Be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US (documentation may be required).

Registration Requirements

Registration is done at the Nursing & Allied Health Center (#1 Academy Place, Dardenne Prairie, MO 63368). Office hours are from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Hours may vary, please call to confirm.
