

This class will teach students to accurately perform advanced clinical calculations in pediatric, critical care and medical/surgical settings. The advanced clinical calculations class is open to practicing RNs and second year ADN students.
Students are expected to review the conversions and formulas used for basic dosage calculations and IV drip rates and be proficient in basic math including addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals, ratio and proportion, percentages and Roman numerals prior to the first class.
Fees for this course are non-refundable.
The textbook is required and available in the Bookstore.
