Certified Nurse Assistant Completion (CNA 102-41)

This class provides up to 25 hours of the Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) curriculum to allow students to complete their training, review information to prepare for a challenge exam, or to meet the requirements as designated by the Department of Health & Senior Services to students challenging the final exam.

Course Requirements

Students must:

  • Be at least 17 years of age.
  • Provide an acceptable Family Care Safety Registry background screening.
  • Be free from tuberculosis (a negative 2-step TB test is required).
  • Be able to  communicate effectively in English. Student may sign up for English as a Second Language (ESL) offered at SCC free of charge.
  • Able to read at the eighth grade level.

Fees for this course are non-refundable.

Note

Students need to provide all previously obtained documentation to allow the instructor to determine what classes are still needed to complete the course.  While the student is reviewing for the final exam, he/she may pick whichever classes they want to attend.  If clinical hours are required to complete coursework, student should enroll in CNA 102-40.
