A Non-Credit Program

This certificate program is a self-contained online offering that allows students to sign up anytime and to progress at their own pace. It is coordinated through CareerStep, a recognized leader in medical transcription education. Students receive reference materials and a transcriber for use in their homes, and they have access online to all other course materials. Technical and academic support are available through e-mail and telephone contact, and students are connected through e-mail and periodic optional group meetings.

No previous medical or secretarial experience is necessary, although typing skills need to be developed in order to successfully complete the course. For more information, please call 636-922-8280.
