Win an iPad Mini

Details and Official Contest Rules:

1. Eligibility – The “Enroll for Spring 2013 Sweepstakes” (“the iPad Contest”) is open to students currently enrolled in Spring 2013 classes at St. Charles Community College (SCC), located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Cottleville, Mo. To be eligible for the iPad Contest drawing, participants must enroll in at least three additional spring semester credit hours at SCC on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, and pay for all classes enrolled by 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013. Winning the iPad Mini prize is contingent upon being compliant with the Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.  No Purchase Necessary: Enrolling in more than three credits does not increase the odds of winning. To submit an alternate form of entry, drop a 3x5" card off in the Marketing & Communications Department, ADM 1121, with your name, address, and student ID. SCC employees are ineligible.
2. Sponsor – The iPad Contest is sponsored by the SCC Marketing & Communications Department, located in the Administration Building, Room 1121, and the SCC Enrollment Services Department, located in the Administration Building, Room 1113.
3. Contest Period – The iPad Contest begins on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at 12:01 a.m. and ends on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time.
4. How to Enter – Limit one entry per person, per SCC student ID number, for the duration of the iPad Contest sweepstakes. Students may register online or in person to be eligible.
5. Prize Drawing – On or about Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, the sponsor will select a potential winner in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. The odds of being selected depend on the number of current students who enroll in three or more credit hours on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012. The sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner via telephone or email on or about Jan. 30, 2013. At the same time or shortly after, the potential winner’s name will also be announced on the SCC Facebook page (www.facebook.com/stchas).
6. Claiming the Prize – For a student to be eligible to claim the iPad Mini, he/she must have paid for all Spring 2013 credit classes at SCC by 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, and be able to show proof that he/she is still enrolled in the same three credits (minimum) at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, and in good financial standing with the College at that time. If the potential winner is no longer qualified at the Prize Claim time and date, a second name will be drawn at random from eligible participants. At that time, the new potential winner will be notified and publicly declared as the iPad Contest winner (same eligibility standards apply).
7. Release and Limitations of Liability – By participating in the iPad Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, and each of their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, other companies associated with the iPad Contest, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees or representatives from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the iPad Contest or receipt or use of the prize, including, but not limited to: a) any technical errors associated with the iPad Contest, including lost, interrupted or unavailable Internet Service Provider (ISP), network, server, wireless service provider, or other connections; b) mechanical, network, electronic, computer, human, printing or typographical errors; c) any other errors or problems in connection with the iPad Contest, including, without limitation, errors that may occur in the administration of the iPad Contest.
8. Disputes – Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the iPad Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually.
