"High Ground" is an encouraging movie about courage and strength in the aftermath of war. It is a feature-length documentary about eleven wounded warriors and one Gold and Blue Star mother who climb Mt. Lobouche in the Himalayas. While recounting their wartime experiences, the veterans find teamwork, friendship and healing on the journey. This film is right where the focus has broadened: revealing the lives of those who have served and live with both seen and unseen wounds.
Hosted by SCC Student Veterans Organization, this event is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted for SCC's Student Veterans Organization.
