SCC is proud to offer two co-ed club sports for students to participate in:
Prior to participation, each student must show proof of medical insurance as well as a current physical. Forms are available for pick-up from the club advisor. Each club has its own procedures and costs for tryouts, so please contact the advisor or coach for more information.
Intramural sports at SCC are offered based on student interest. If you are interested in participating in an intramural sport, please email Kelley Pfeiffer, email@example.com, with your name, phone number, SCC student I.D. number and what sport you would like to participate in. A comprehensive list is maintained year-round, and once there are enough students to start a team, those students will be contacted.
Thanks for your interest!
Students, faculty and staff have access to the Fitness Center, which provides fitness assessment and a complete weight machine circuit.

Community members may use the center by being enrolled in the Fitness Center conditioning class offered by the Division of Corporate and Community Development. Call 636-922-8233 for information and registration.
The Fitness Center is not available for open use during scheduled classes. Please check the class schedule or posted schedule on the Fitness Center whiteboard for "open" use times. For more information and hours of operation, see our Fitness Center page.
Walk your way to health over the paths of the beautiful 228-acre SCC campus. There are multiple options for those who want to walk the grounds of the college campus. The Employee Sponsored Program (ESP) helped fund the construction of many parts of the walking paths as well as the convenient trail markers that guide you around each one within the boundaries of the SCC campus. You can start on each trail at any point, and all three have easy access to the trailhead marker near the Child Development Center and Technology Building.
St. Charles County residents, students and employees have safe and convenient access to parks and recreation thanks to a 1.5-mile trail in Great Rivers Greenway’s trail system. The Dardenne Greenway Trail at St. Charles Community College in Cottleville officially opened in May 2014 and links together two existing sections of the Dardenne Greenway in Cottleville and St. Peters, as well as multiple existing trails in nearby parks – creating nearly five miles of continuous connectivity. The trail provides residents in St. Peters and Cottleville with direct access to St. Charles Community College, six parks, numerous neighborhoods and other community amenities. It is a pivotal connection that links the Cottleville Trail on the Dardenne Greenway within Legacy Park to the south with the segment of the Dardenne Greenway that runs from Woodlands Sports Park to St. Peters Golf Course to the north.
SCC organizes and hosts the annual That '80s Run, featuring a 10K, 5K, 1-Mile Fun Run and a Health and Wellness Expo. The event is held the last Saturday in April. Event proceeds are used to fund college wellness projects and a $1,000 scholarship to SCC.
