Prior to tryouts, every player must download, print and fill out all of the documents below. Some printed copies are also available in the Student Activities office, CC 102. In addition to this paperwork, include a photocopy of both sides of your medical insurance card. You must turn in ALL paperwork before skating setting foot on the rink for tryouts, and all athletes MUST attend at least two tryouts to be considered for the team. This includes players who have participated in past years, too. Turn in completed paperwork, along with $75 club fee, to Ben Munson, advisor, in ADM 1121. Make checks payable to SCC.
Print and complete each of the following documents and turn them into Ben Munson, advisor, by 4:30 p.m. the Thursday before your first tryout date. You will NOT be allowed to skate if your player paperwork is not 100 percent complete and fees paid.
Players are responsible for attending all practices and games on time unless prior notification is given to the coaching staff. All mandatory paperwork must be complete, and all athletes must remain enrolled in at least six credit hours with a 1.75 GPA to be eligible for league play and team practices. For additional information regarding the hockey club, visit Ben Munson, club advisor, in ADM 1121, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
At the conclusion of the first half of the season, the 10-time national champion Cougars sit comfortably in first place with a 6-3-1 record, having won their final three games of the fall semester. The team will look to re-tool in January for another run at the cup, with tryouts and practices starting Jan. 16.
