SCC provides hundreds of academic and entertainment activities throughout the year, for the community, that are suitable for people of all ages.
From outdoor movie nights, to comedy nights, to Rhythm & Ribs, to plays, to art exhibitions, to concerts, to returning learners workshops, to teen parent open houses, to leadership & strategy series, to summer camps, to competitions, to scholarships … there really is something for everyone! Events are open to the public and many are free.
To stay informed about these community events and activities, sign up for our Friends & Alumni e-newsletter. It's free and open to anyone who attended SCC as a student, believes in the power of education or just likes to have a good time with friends and neighbors. Plus, if you know a current/future student, we always include reminders about scholarship and enrollment deadlines. (Just so you know, we never sell our email lists.)
We look forward to seeing you around campus sometime soon!
Former students and community members, who believe in the power of education, team up to help SCC remain affordable and accessible for future generations. For more information about their efforts and how you can join the fun, visit the Friends & Alumni page.
In addition to the Foundation news feed and our Snapshot newsletter, make sure to like us at Facebook.com/sccfoundation. The college also has a Facebook and Twitter account. Want to read more? Check out our student and faculty blogs.
