Configure Your Windows 7 Wireless

• Right click on the Wireless icon in the lower right corner of your screen by the clock.

    A menu will pop up. Select Open Network Sharing Center.

• Left click manage wireless networks

• Right click on SCC and select Properties. If you do not see SCC click on ADD

        * Click on Manually create a network profile

        * Type in or select:

        * Network name: SCC

         * Security Type: WPA2-Enterprise

         * Encryption type: AES

         * Put a checkmark in the box: Start this connection automatically

         * Click on Next

         * Click on Change Connection Settings

• Click on the Securities tab

• Security type: WPA2-Enterprise

• Encryption type : AES

• Use the drop down arrow under Choose a Network authentication method and select

    Microsoft: Protected EAP (PEAP)

• Click on Settings

• In the Protected EAP Properties:

    * Check Validate server certificate

    * Check connect to these servers and type in wireless.stchas.edu

    * Trusted Root Certification Authorities: check Geo Trust Global CA

    * Click Configure. Make sure the box under When Connecting is unchecked, and click OK three times

    * Left click on the Wireless icon in the lower right corner of your screen by the clock.

    * Select SCC

    * Click on Connect

    * Enter your login ID and Password
  
  STUDENTS
    Enter your iConnect ID in the User Name box and iConnect password into the Password box.
  
  FACULTY & STAFF
    Enter your entire e-mail address in the User Name box and e-mail password in the Password box.
