Logging on to CougarMail for the first time:

* You must have your iConnect Login ID first *

  1. Open your Internet Browser
  2. Navigate to http://outlook.com/my.stchas.edu
  3. When the page loads you will see Sign In, with Windows Live ID: and Password:
    Note: If you see your Windows Live ID or one of your other e-mail accounts, sign out and then click on Sign in with a different account.
  4. Type in your iConnect ID with @my.stchas.edu behind it.  (Example: ab123456@my.stchas.edu)
  5. Then type in your temporary password which is your Student ID number.  (Example: 0123456)
  6. Click on Sign In
  7. Microsoft Outlook Web Registration will appear.
    1. Re-type your temporary password.
    2. You will be asked to make a new password and confirm it, it can be anything; we recommend you use the same one as iConnect.
    3. Select a security question from the list and create your answer.
    4. Put in an alternate e-mail address that you use, in case you forget your password you can have it sent there.
    5. Now sign in with your Windows Live ID and New Password.

SkyDrive

* You must have your CougarMail activated first *

SkyDrive is 7GB of free Web storage hosted by Microsoft on the Internet, for anyone with a LiveID. If you want the flexibility of being able to access your files wherever you are, SkyDrive is for you. Think of it as a virtual thumb drive.

  1. Open your Internet Browser
  2. Navigate to http://skydrive.live.com or Sign In to CougarMail and select Profile then SkyDrive on the left.
  3. When the page loads you will see Sign In, with Windows Live ID: and Password:
    Note: If you see your Windows Live ID or one of your other e-mail accounts, sign out and then click on Sign in with a different account.
  4. Type in your iConnect ID with @my.stchas.edu behind it.  (Example: ab123456@my.stchas.edu)
  5. Then type in your password.
  6. Now you have access to your SkyDrive.
