Logging on to CougarMail for the first time:

* You must have your iConnect Login ID first *

Your Email address is your iConnect ID with @my.stchas.edu behind it. 

(Example: ab123456@my.stchas.edu)

Your temporary password is your Student ID number with scc (lowercase) in front of it. 

(Example: scc0123456)

  1. Open your Internet Browser. (CougarMail works best with Microsoft’s Internet Explorer or Safari.)
  2. Navigate to http://outlook.com/my.stchas.edu
  3. After the page loads you will see: 
    Office 365 Sign in with your organizational account
    .
    Note: If you see Outlook Live or one of your other email accounts, sign out and then click on Sign in with a different account. Enter your Email Address, Temporary Password, and click on Sign In. 
    You will be asked to update your password at this time.
  4. Enter your temporary password when it asks for your Old Password. 
    You will be asked to make a new password and confirm it; it can be anything. We recommend you use the same one as iConnect.
  5. Click on Save.
  6. Select your time zone: (UTC-6:00) Central Time (US & Canada).
  7. Click on OK.
  8. Your Inbox will open.
