Academic and Career Enhancement Center (ACE)

The Academic and Career Enhancement (ACE) Center is a learning center dedicated to helping students achieve academic, professional and personal success by assisting them to improve their academic skills and study techniques. The ACE Center provides a variety of support services and materials to help students be successful in their college courses.

• Tutoring is available for a variety of subjects by learning specialists and peer tutors. Most common subjects are:
  • Math
  • English
  • Science
  • Spanish
  • Computer
• Learning specialists can assist students with their research papers for any course offered at SCC.
• Supplementary materials and diverse instructional aids are available to students which will allow them to learn in the way they are most comfortable.
• Our computer lab offers tutorials, word processing and Internet access. There are 87 computer stations in the main lab and four MAC computers in the MAC office.

Open both days and evenings, Monday through Friday, tutoring is available to SCC students. Appointments can be made in person, or by calling 636-922-8444.

We do not give make-up tests to students in the ACE Center. This is a service offered by the Assessment Center.
