Requesting Accommodations for Online Courses

The college recognizes that there may have to be some adjustment in the manner of requesting services, etc. for students taking online courses. For example, possibly an online student is not on campus at all or lives in another state, etc. In those instances, each will be handled case by case. The accessibility services manager and student will work out a viable option such as email or phone to discuss documentation, impact of disability, request for accommodations, etc. The Request for Accommodation Form is online for easy access and submission. Once approved for accommodations, the Letters of Accommodation could be mailed or emailed to the student. Students may return by mail or email and Accessibility Services could forward to the instructor if the student preferred not to do so.
