CRJ-175-N1 Criminology

Welcome to Criminology. This course has been developed to provide you with an alternative form for obtaining college credit for this course. Following the successful completion of this course, you will receive three semester hours of credit at St. Charles Community College (SCC).

My name is Kurt Woodfin. I will be your instructor for this course. I have been on the faculty as an adjunct instructor at SCC since 1999 and will be available to answer your questions and discuss points of interest via the telephone or through email. You may contact me at 314-406-7438 and leave a message at any time. The adjunct office is located in the Social Sciences Building, Room 1104. I will return your call or email generally within 24 hours. Please note: Do not sign up for this course with exceptions in mind to the course schedule.

Orientation is Mandatory. Students who do not attend the orientation will have their final grade decreased by one letter grade. No exceptions.

Allow 1.5 hours. Choose one to attend:

• 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, in TECH 112
• 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, in TECH 101

The orientation is very important. During this time, we will have an opportunity to get acquainted. We will review the schedule, assignments and requirements of the course with due dates and college/course expectations. You will be able to ask any questions that you may have. Be sure to attend. Class will begin promptly, and I will not cover what was missed if you are late.
