Some transfer schools require

• MAT 180: Calculus & Analytic Geometry and/or MAT 175: Statistics.
• Some transfer schools require BOTH a physics sequence and organic chemistry sequence for a B.S. degree; B.A. degrees often require either sequence (not both).
• It is important to take your ACT exam early (by the end of the third semester or earlier).
• Many transfer schools require an ACT score of 26 or better.
• If you want to teach secondary biology, a B.A. degree may be a good choice.
• Take the CBASE exam (as well as the ACT) by the end of the third semester.
