Introduction To Machine Quilting
- Sewing machine [cleaned, oiled and in good working order with all attachments, manual, and free motion (quilting or darning) foot.]
- 1 yd. Roclon muslin
- 1 yd. 100 % cotton batting – Cut the batting 22” x 36”
- Large scissors – sharp
- Small scissors –sharp
- One empty bobbin
- 1” Masking or Painters tape
- One Spool Mettler Silk finish thread (Natural /off white color.)
- Roxanne’s Glue Baste It – (Available for purchase in class - $8.00)
- Clear acrylic ruler 24” long
- Roxanne’s Quilter’s Choice marking pencils ( Purchase in class 2 for $4.00)
- Machine needles size 80 (12) or 90 (14) – either Quilting Needles OR Microtex needles
- One bottle of water ¼ - ½ full with screw cap
- Extension Cord
- Pen/Pencil
- Wash and iron FABRIC (not batting) before class. Cut the muslin into 2 pieces: one piece 18” x 30” and one piece 22”x 36”
- Cut batting into 22” x 36” piece
