President's Message

Dear Friends,

Welcome to St. Charles Community College.

You have arrived at a choice destination. At SCC we offer endless opportunities for success. I encourage you to explore all that we have to offer. Whether your goal is to transfer to a four-year college, learn a new language, prepare for a career or simply to update your skills, we have what you seek.

Thousands of SCC graduates have gone on to pursue their educational goals over the past quarter century. Many live, work and make a difference right here in St. Charles County. With affordable pricing and open admissions, all who can benefit from the college’s programs and services have access to a quality education at SCC.

The college works continuously to maintain strong community partnerships supporting economic development and workforce training. We serve the community in many ways, with continuing education classes for lifelong learners, youth programs, programs in the arts and many cultural events year-round.

Helping students to be successful is at the center of the SCC mission. We are fortunate to have dedicated and experienced faculty and staff focused on teaching and learning. Students have access to academic and career counselors and abundant resources to support their learning. Services of the ACE Tutoring Center are free and open to all learners. A new office supporting our military veterans is also available.

The college offers a wide range of financial assistance and scholarship options. Students and prospective students are encouraged to explore all of the options available for funding their education at SCC.

We also want students to get involved. The connections made here at SCC will serve students well into the future. From clubs and activities to athletic, cultural and educational events, there are a number of ways to connect with other students and to be active on campus.
