The St. Charles Community College Foundation raised more than $39,000 at its 17th annual Presidents Classic Golf Scramble on Monday, Sept. 30, at the Old Hickory Golf Club in St. Peters. Proceeds from the event will be used to fund scholarships and academic enhancements.
“Quality higher education remains accessible for students in our region because of the generous support from these community members,” said Betsy Schneider, SCC director of development.
Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital/Progress West Hospital was the “Eagle” sponsor. “Birdie” sponsors were RX Systems, Inc., and SSM St. Joseph Health Center and Hospital West. “Par” sponsors included Acropolis Investment Management LLC, Ameren Missouri, Commerce Bank, Enterprise Bank & Trust, FastLane Convenience Stores, General Motors, NHC HealthCare and Rehabilitation, Paric Corporation, Utilimap Corporation and UPS.
Scott Liebel, supervising engineer at Ameren Missouri, and Justin Miller, financial advisor at Edward Jones, were co-chairs of the planning committee for this year’s golf scramble.
