St. Charles Community College will display artwork Jan. 27-Feb. 21 at the “MFA Invitational.” The opening reception will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
This exhibition features artwork by select graduate students from Fontbonne University, Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and Washington University. The participating artists include Mike Gesiakowski, Sarah Gillespie, Melissa Hampton, Adam Hogan, Albert Yowshien Kuo, Emily Lamp, Erica Popp Samuel Preston and Rosalynn Stovall.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to view artwork from some of the top graduate students in the area,” said Christine Holtz, SCC gallery coordinator.
The gallery hours are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. The gallery is located in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building.
