Next Leadership & Strategy Speaker Series Topic is "The Mentor's Way: Eight Rules for Bringing Out the Best in Others"

Rik Nemanick, Ph.D., co-founder of The Leadership Effect, will present “The Mentor’s Way: Eight Rules for Bringing Out the Best in Others,” 7:30-9 a.m., Tuesday, May 1, as part of the Leadership & Strategy Speaker Series, a business education program presented by Friends & Alumni of St. Charles Community College, Charter Business and the Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce. The event will be held at the St. Charles Convention Center located at One Convention Center Plaza in St. Charles.

In this seminar, Nemanick will share eight rules of mentoring that help accelerate the mentoring process and maximize its effectiveness. Participants will leave with practical tools and advice they can use to become better mentors in their own organizations.

Over the past 15 years, Nemanick has trained over 2,000 mentors in his mentoring techniques at companies like Monsanto, Anheuser-Busch, Pfizer and Covidien. In addition to his consulting and research on mentoring, Nemanick also provides executive coaching, leader assessment and other services. He holds a doctorate in organizational psychology from Saint Louis University.

The Leadership & Strategy Speaker Series provides business education opportunities to business owners, their management teams and non-profit executives. The presentations are given by well-known experts in their respective fields and are free of charge.
