Ed Mayuga, AMM Communications principal, will present “DIY Marketing and Branding,” at the inaugural meeting of the Leadership & Strategy Speaker Series, the newly launched business education program presented by Friends & Alumni of St. Charles Community College, Charter Business and the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce. The speaker series will be held 7:30-9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, at the St. Charles Convention Center located at One Convention Center Plaza in St. Charles.
The Leadership & Strategy Speaker Series will provide business education opportunities to business owners, their management teams and non-profit executives. The presentations are given by well-known experts in their respective fields and are free of charge.
Mayuga’s presentation, “DIY Marketing and Branding,” is geared toward business owners, non-profit executives and senior-level managers who have not explored the basics of social media. Social media is a tactic for Do It Yourself (DIY) marketing and communications that enables professionals to connect with current and potential clients and customers, but it can be confusing. Mayuga will discuss the different strategies and tools, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, HootSuite and Google Alerts to help you jump-start a company’s or firm’s online marketing and branding.
Attendees must pre-register to attend the Feb. 8, “DIY Marketing and Branding” session. Please visit the St. Charles Community College website at www.stchas.edu/speakerseries. A continental breakfast will be provided.
