Painting Invitational Will Be On Display Jan. 31-March 4 at SCC

A painting invitational will take place Jan. 31-March 4 at St. Charles Community College in the gallery of the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building on the college campus. The show is free and open to the public.

The exhibit will showcase artwork by Daven Anderson, Deborah Douglas, Ron Flier, Elizabeth Parris, Robin Street-Morris and David M. Yates.

“These artists explore a variety of painting techniques combined with a wide array of conceptual approaches,” said Christine Holtz, SCC adjunct instructor and gallery coordinator.

An opening reception will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, in the gallery.

Gallery hours are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Fridays, and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturdays. For more information about this exhibit or upcoming exhibits, contact Christine Holtz at choltz@stchas.edu.
